After the joys of Printfest I took part in Arthouse again. Artists are installed with their work in various houses in the Stoneygate area of Leicester. We had loads of visitors and made good sales.
The it was up north again to Skipton for Art in the Pen for the first time. I was worried about setting up my stall in a cattle pen, but in the end it was so easy. Loved Skipton, loved all the hundreds of visitors coming to buy and the nightlife was great. Call out to the Mess Room and their massive glasses of Prosecco.
Open studios in September and then the art fair at the Attenborough Centre in Leicester. Nice to do something close to home and both are popular events. This year was the first time Rutland Open Studios linked with Northampton OS. A great success.
